As we head into winter, it's time to refresh your locks with five trendy, head-turning hairstyles. Whether you're a trendsetter or just looking for a fun change, these styles will inspire you to unleash your inner hair genius and embrace a new level of confidence.
Triple Plait Pony Tail:
Elevate your usual go-to hair style with this: a braided twist on a classic ponytail. Start out with a slicked back ponytail, separate your hair into three sections and start braiding. Its a perfect hairstyle for those days when you aren't just ready to wash it yet or as a funky night out hairdo!
Plait on a Plait:
For something your probably haven't tried out, a plait on top of a plait. Split your hair into two sections in the middle (from ear to ear). Keep the top section away from the bottom section by pinning it up. Braid the bottom in a simple plait and secure with a band/tie. Repeat the same plait with the top section. Keep it as it is or add little bows to the ends for a bolder look.
Plaited Slick Back Bun:
Why stop at just a slick back bun, when you can add a braid for a sleeker look. Begin your bun as usual by slicking back your back in a ponytail. Braid the hair into a plait, twist into a bun and secure with a hair tie. Alternatively, for a slightly different look, separate you pony tail into three sections, loosely braid them individually and twist each braid into a bun to create a thicker style.
Bubble Pony Tail:
This is an oldie but a goodie, and perfect for the winter months when you want something stylish but no hair getting in your face from winter winds. For this hairstyle, you need multiple hair ties! Secure your hair into a ponytail - slicked back or not, its up to you. In inch long sections secure a hair tie along the ponytail until you reach the end. with each section you've made, fluff/wiggle the hair to create that bubble effect.
Snap Clips:
The 90's have called and they say that their hair accessories are coming back! With this comes snap clips, the best way to add a pop of colour or sparkle to any hairstyle. Clip them to your bangs to keep them out of the way, or make them the statement and add loads to the front section for a wow style.
