The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer and daffodils are popping up in every corner. Spring is nearly here and here are the fashion trends predictions for spring that are anticipated to dominate this season.

Pops of Pink

Cherry red has had it's moment as the go-to pop of colour to add to your outfits. Welcoming us into the new season is a softer pop of pink. I expect to see this illustrated through shoes, bags, caps and soft knit jumpers or cardigans. I am also throughly loving a matched bright long ankle sock with a bag - so chic and such an interesting way to incorporate the trend with something you'd have in your wardrobe already!

Denim on Denim

Yes, you read that right, the 80s and 90s is coming back in full force. Double denim is back in the spotlight and has taken on a tailored style. As seen on the runway, dark wash denim is very much a popular look paired with light accessories. But don't feel limited to traditional cuts of denim such as the classic jean or skirt, instead pair denim waist coats with maxi denim skirts for a newer twist.

Midaxi & Maxi Layered Skirts

As is seasonal for fashion, skirt outfits are slowly trickling into our weekly rotation of clothes, yet what isn't usual for fashion is that the expected floral prints are actually on a decline in popularity. As such, a more simple and understated skirt that wiggled it way to top spot: the layered white maxi skirt. This versatile item will last you through summer and into the early months of autumn - as it can be paired with an oversized printed tee for everyday or with a lacey camisole for an evening out.

Leopard Print

If you have managed to bypass the leopard print overstimulation on social media then I applaud you, however the animal print is only one you should be sporting going into spring! What started with a pair of Samba's from the Addidas x Wales Bonner Collab has ballooned into a spring staple. The Ganni leopard print jeans have also skyrocketed in popularity alongside the sambas cementing this trend into fashion for the foreseeable future.

All the Stripes

Stripes are most definitely in for spring. Vertical stripes on trousers, skirts and bags are everything for spring and can casually blend the seasons together harmoniously in fashion. My favourite pick for this trend is the Tom's Trunks pinstripe blue an write trousers. And of course, you can't go wrong with a classic striped button down shirt paired with jeans or a cute skirt - an easy outfit to throw together.
